![]() ![]() This is definitely the smallest, most compact blender out of the bunch! And it weighs a mere 15.5 ounces, so it’s also the absolutely lightest portable blender you can get! If portability is your one and only concern, the Greecho blender is the perfect option for you. But if you want the power of a traditional blender in a more compact and personal size, that’s the price you have to pay. The BlenderX retails for a little over $100, making it one of the priciest portable blenders featured in this review. And you get a waterproof carry bag with it, which is quite convenient. The BlenderX also features great stainless steel blades on the knife, as well as a BPA-free plastic cup. That means that it’s much more durable than the lightweight plastic options, so it’s ultimately better value. The battery capacity of this personal blender is pretty high though, and you can use it for days on a single charge.Īdditionally, the main reason the base is so heavy is that it is made from stainless steel. Also, this comes with a more traditional power adapter that you can only plug into an outlet. The base of this personal blender is heavy, so you will need to figure out a way to use it on the go. It can crush and blend anything a Nutri Bullet can, and it comes with a big 600 ml cup. This has the power of your regular home blender but in a more portable package, and I love that. So, what exactly makes it a great portable blender?įor one, this isn’t a USB blender, which means that it’s much more powerful than all those tiny ones that will fit into your purse. It weighs over 4.5 lbs, so it’s certainly not something you’ll want to carry in your bag every day. The BlenderX is one of the least portable and most expensive blenders out there. And this is a standard USB blender, so you can charge it with your laptop or a simple wall adapter. The main light will blink red ten times if it’s time to charge the blender again, which is pretty cool. On top of that, there is even an indicator that lets you know that the battery life is getting low. Perhaps the only downside is that you don’t get a lid with a spout for easy drinking on the go, but I doubt that’s a deal-breaker.Īnother great thing about this portable blender is that it actually has six different blades on the knife. This makes it really easy to clean, and thanks to the convenient travel lids you don’t have to worry about any spillage. The blending cup features a rather unique design with two open ends. That cup is suitable even for hot drinks and the blades can crush anything, even nuts and store-bought frozen fruit. ![]() On top of that, this portable blender features a borosilicate glass cup and tough stainless steel blades, for excellent durability. It does take a while to charge it fully, but you can get quite a lot of use from just one charge. The 5000mAh battery is better than you get in most modern smartphones, which is pretty cool. If you’ve never done a wine tasting, never seen a winery and love fruity wines, I’d recommend buying a tasting (no lunch). We skipped the vineyard tour we’d paid for to attempt to salvage our day. The wines are all quite sweet or sour – not fine wine. Wine tastings, old dairy barn showcases local artists. In her twilight zone, she’s forced to get all her garden accents and ornaments at one store. Small specialty winery produces fresh fruit and grapes wines made from fruit grown at the farm. It’s a sort of doomsday/worst case scenario, and it has to do with one-stop shopping. The box lunch was a slice of thin turkey on a stale bun and a “mini” cheese platter that was a slice of cheese (good, though) sprinkled with a few Craisins. JMarianne Vandenburgh has a recurring nightmare. The person “forgot” who we were and almost didn’t honor the lunch coupons she’d given us. We had to wait in line at the tasting bar again to request our box lunches. Once we waited our turn to ask how we could get started (we had a reservation), the person snapped at us and asked us to wait longer to check in. Everyone who appeared to work at the winery was super busy with tastings. It started with no one to welcome you or explain how the tastings or the experience worked. However, I cannot recommend the full-tour experience ($99) we bought and (almost) had. I recommend going to the winery to buy a few bottles of fruity (not fine) wine. We will for sure go back- even if it is 90 minutes. They offer cheese plates, and lunch (if you call 24 hours ahead). While we were there the sun came out and we sat outside for 3 hours snacking on the veggies and crackers we brought. A three tiered yard offered sun and shade with a view of vineyards and the mountains to the West. We left with 6 for summer drinking because they were all so refreshing. These were full of flavor and there were dry as well as sweet. ![]() The wines are not your typical even for fruit wines. The two women working the tastings were not only friendly but knowledgeable and they were great to talk to. Upon arrival we were greeted and offered some asparagus soup ( we had just finished breakfast or we would have accepted). Some people may dismiss this winery because it specializes in fruit wines, but that would be a big mistake! Took a 90 minute ride on a cloudy Sunday to try the offerings here and found a beautiful place with some great wines. ![]() ![]() It is, however, the first one with Affinity and I wasn’t expecting this hiccup. They simply asked for working files this time. If your printer still insists on packaged Indesign files then you can either use Indesign or find another printer. So you really have 1 option if you do not want to use Indesign, you need need to supply print ready PDF's. You will never have a perfect conversion. At the end of the day they are 2 page layout programs made by 2 different companies. Sure they may be able to improve things but it will never be 100% compatibility between the two. Regarding Serif addressing Indesign and their file I don't think this is not something they really can do beyond what they have now with IDML files. In the Export dialog box, select Microsoft Publisher (.pub) as the file type. Cutting out a middle step that is really not needed. Open the InDesign document that you want to export. It can be used to create works such as posters, flyers, brochures, magazines, newspapers, presentations, books and ebooks. A properly made PDF with crops and bleeds gets things moving much faster then opening a working file and preparing a PDF after that for print. Adobe InDesign is a desktop publishing and page layout designing software application produced by Adobe Inc. Personally I only want working files if I need to make serious changes or alterations. it will give things genetic games in the styles panel, but you will have to rename and check. You addressed supplying them a PDF, which is something I know we prefer here as do other local printers. Affinity Publisher to InDesign Upvote Translate Report JonathanArias Guru, there is not direct path that will keep everything that was made on the file. It saddens me because I much prefer this software and don’t care for Adobe in general. I will not be able to use Publisher in the future for large projects unless this is addressed. If you are collaborating you should all be using the same software. I have a grumpy tendency to return Publisher files to the client. I would check with them if they can use Publisher as you may be wasting your time trying to get Publisher to package. Adobe is the standard here and I am assuming they would be asking for a packaged Indesign file. Finished!
